Sunday's Best

It was a Sunday but it was not just any ordinary Sunday for me. Well, it's because, I attended a special session for photoshoot and sketch, in other words, it was a good art experience...

Again, I was able to practice my craft and passion, and as promised, here's an update, here is one of my output from the session:

As you can see, I am not totally done with the details (you know what I mean and you know what's definitely missing in the picture...) due to time constraints and other stuff. But I was able to get lots from the model's poses.

As the day ended, I realized, Art is better owned and done if it is from within your soul, mind, body, effort, and etc. Art should not be done through other devices and media but in the contrary Art is also done through other media. Although Art is now usually digital, let us not forget that we too can create Art on our own and our own effort. With that, I now aspire to rebuild once more something that many wants but cannot do due to some advancements that hinders them from doing such...Let's go back to the Old school! Let's go Analogue Once more! Let us relieve the era where art was in its sincerest and at its purest...

What the hell am I bluffing, huh?

Finally! My Mickeys!

Finally! After weeks of panelings, encodings, and all sorts of things, I was able to do what I should have done weeks ago. First, I was able to clean my workplace, second follow-up on whatever had to be sent online, and most of all, Finalize all the mickeys that I have.

Hopefully, I get to see more of those customizable vinyl figures...I'm so into toys now...

Oh well, hopefully it wouldn't be too late for me too catch up for this month, right now, as I am typing this one. I am actually, preparing and at the same time, conditioning myself for a painting session for tomorrow. I will be just giving you an update on that.

But going back to my mickeys, well, I'm proud to say that, with the help of Sharpie pens and Pilot pens. I was able to successfully design and give life to those mickeys of mine...

Anyhow, I guess that would be all for now, stay tuned ;-)

Oh well, the things is...

Another week another start...

In three days time we will be celebrating our  "College Days", just so you know, I'm now an adviser for an org that focuses on multimedia arts. Given that, all orgs are going to exhibit their own craft, as for us, we cam up with an idea of showcasing of talents and even hobby, as for me, I easily remembered my other works that were not yet shown to the campus. So I decided to feature my watercolor artworks, but just recently the thing is...

I just realized that, things happen for reasons, I mean I may not been able to retrieved some of my early works, plus I may have been surprised to some mishaps but then again, the situation got me thinking better or in other words, I was able to remedy that. Plus, I cannot cheat on others' generosity as well, anyhow, I'll just go work with my new idea and inspiration. May God Bless this attempt :-)

An Unexpected Post Birthday Gesture

Today seems to be just the same days that I have in work. Well, except for the pre-payday anxiety of course...

But none the less, it would have been that until my other thesis advisory group came...

Well, it started out that they came and were looking for lighters or matches, even my chairperson was helping them out (I still had no idea what was going on...) I asked them, "Why do you need a lighter?" and they were like, "we needed to fix something and we don't have a glue gun, so we'll just burn the tip of a glue stick..."

We were on the usual routine of consultation until, I saw some of them at the door holding something with a candle and the whole office were singing "Happy Birthday". As for me, I was totally in shock (especially that my chairperson was in connivance) and I had to have my face covered for minutes for they actually had me almost in tears (since no one actually does that to me, and the appreciation of the students are still priceless in the end)

They made me blow the candle, but the wish that I made was not for me but sincerely for my Advisory group :-)

Actually, the incident also reminded me of college when it was my 20th birthday:

The scenario was, I was busy doing task the morning of my exact birthdate and most of my classmates were just acting normal. Then they all managed to leave me alone in our room then after a minute, All friends and Classmates were singing "Happy Birthday" with the cakes and balloon in the background, I was actually stunned and the tears in my eyes were successfully stopped by yours truly. I also realized that, the people singing together were, the same people who were fighting the night before (which made me to think that I think that was part of the Setup...hhhhmmm) here was their surprise to me:

Th cake ended up as dessert during lunch time but all is well and everyone was of course happy. Those were actually a few of the "Birthday Surprise" happenings in my awakening life, you see, I really never experience those way back in the days...but I'm not complaining (Still thankful, by the way)

Anyhow, that just made my day...'Til then :-)

An Update on my Mickeys

Oh well, seems I really got addicted to it.

You see I managed to come up with some designs for my mickeys. So far, so good, I already came up with four with another one on the works, hopefully after this I would somehow find more mickeys at toy stores.

Anyhow, here's my progress:

I really get relaxed whenever I design a mickey... Hopefully as I have said, I would still find some mickey's out there after I got all the remaining stocks of it in a department store...I would actually be more happy If I get to finish at least 12 of them...hehe ;-)

Oh well, might as well, get back to life in reality now, Stay tuned for more in my next post :-)

And So I'm hoping to be back :-)

It's been a while now, and with all due fairness it really takes a lot from me to get back on track. It's like going to the gym and aiming to lose pounds while in denial that you were astray which did lead you to gain lots of weight.

Anyhow, what's important is that my spirits back in venturing into more of my passion and of course, my online persona.

If you noticed, I've changed colors in the blog, it's not that I feel blue but I want to simply go for something that I don't usually go for...Gets?

Anyhow, much has been said and done but for now, why don't you check-out my upcoming project:

I was actually given one "Express yourself Mickey" by a friend at work as a birthday gift. But I ended up addicted to the new "designing your figure" so I also ended up buying 6 more of it (by the way, the six that I bought were also the last stock in the store where I bought it, lucky me!)

Anyhow, stay tuned for what's next, anyhow, it's good to be back ;-)

it's been years since I last posted in this blog, and it took a lot from me to face this one but now,

since things are quite new now, I will be changing a lot in this blog rather than to have it totally shut down...
